Straight off the Lake District fells or dressed to the nines, you will find a warm welcome at Lake Road Wine Bar in the heart of Ambleside. Lake Road is a popular independent bar run by enthusiastic and friendly locals Mike and Jackie Brass who, along with their cheerful staff, ensure a good time is had by all. The bar is spacious and comfortable with a laid back feel and intimate atmosphere. A new tapas, gourmet burger and big sandwiches menu has been introduced this year served from 6.30 - 9.30 pm Wed - Sun. A great place to eat, share platters or just relax with friends.
Lake Road Wine Bar is a place frequented by a great mixture of locals, students and visitors and there is an easygoing vibe with an eclectic selection of music. There is an extensive drinks selection - a great choice of wines by the glass, Old School local hand pulled ale brewed at Winster, Asahi, Becks and Stella, Tetleys, Boddingtons and Gaymers on draught and a huge range of spirits and cocktails.
